Positive effects of drinking coffee and green tea on the liver

Tea and coffee are among the most consumed and common drinks among many people in all parts of the world. In one of the latest valuable articles published in one of the world’s most prestigious scientific journals, researchers have reported that the consumption of coffee and green tea can reduce the risk of liver cancer (1). Researchers in this article found that people who consume at least one cup of coffee per day have a lower risk of developing liver cancers compared to those who do not consume coffee daily. Also, the risk of liver cancer is lower in people who consume at least 4 cups of green tea per day compared to those who do not consume green tea in their daily schedule.
